The content for the thirty-five Spiritual Principles of Leadership and Seven Lenses of Awareness was created through a dialogue process between Dr. Paul D. Houston and Dr. Stephen L. Sokolow. For each principle and lens of awareness the authors generated a series of evocative questions. For example, when discussing the Principle of Trust, they discussed such evocative questions as: “Why is it important for leaders to be trusting?”, and “Why is it essential for leaders to be trustworthy?" In each session, seven to ten questions were generated and explored. Lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, each session was digitally recorded. Next year the Center is planning to begin producing audio CD’s for each of the Spiritual Principles of Leadership and Seven Lenses of Awareness based on those digital recordings.
